Naomi returns and Jade Cargill debuts. On TV leading up to WM, Naomi reconnects with old friend Bianca Belair. She asks Bianca to tag with her and go after the Kabuki Warrior’s tag titles. Bianca politely declines saying she’s more focused on singles gold and beating Rhea Ripley to prove she’s the best singles wrestler in the world. Bianca brings in Jade and suggests that Naomi tag with her. Bianca explains that Jade and her have been training together and built a friendship. Naomi accepts and her and Jade get along but it’s clear it’s a little awkward between them.

November – Survivor Series:
- Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, & Dragon Lee vs Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, & Bronson Reed WARGAMES
Roman asks the bloodline for help fighting the MFT’s, they all turn him down one by one. Roman’s forced to make shady deals with untrustworthy allies: CM Punk (who demands a favour from Paul Heyman in return), Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins (who joins in late, returning from injury and refusing to explain his motives to make himself seem more trustworthy. Also, refusing to engage with the team). Dragon Lee is a young wrestler with potential brought in as he was brave enough to fight alongside modern day legends. As soon as all competitors are inside the cage, Rollins turns on his team. He beats them all viciously with weapons and walks away, allowing the MFT’s to win.

- The New Day vs MCMG (c) Tag Team Championship Match

- Royal Rumble Match: John Cena
Final four is Rollins, Roman, Punk, and Cena with each of them standing in a corner. The four stare down with Rollins & Roman on one side and Cena & Punk on the other – representing two different eras. Roman goes after Rollins though, and Punk joins in as revenge for WARGAMES. Then, Punk and Roman go after each other. This allows a recovered Rollins to sneak up and eliminate both of them. Roman and Punk argue and continue brawling on the outside. Cena enjoys watching the whole thing. Down to just Cena and Rollins, Cena’s able to get the win. Rollins crashes out on the outside.
March –
NXT Roadblock:
- Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Giulia (c) North American & NXT Championship Winner Takes All Match
Elimination Chamber:
- Charlotte Flair vs Naomi vs Alexa Bliss vs Bayley vs Liv Morgan vs Roxanne Perez Elimination Chamber Match
Jade attacks Naomi, revealing her as the mystery attacker. Plays the same as real life except Bianca isn’t in the chamber. Maybe Bianca enters with Jade expecting her to take out Liv and then Jade locks her out of the chamber to beat up Naomi. Bianca can introduce Jade on the mic. Maybe her friendships blowing up causes her to become more angry in her pursuit of Rhea.

- Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn Hardcore Match
- Seth Rollins vs CM Punk vs LA Knight vs Solo Sikoa vs Penta vs Drew McIntyre Elimination Chamber Match
RAW:

NXT Stand & Deliver:

Now she fears being in Stephanie’s shadow and will go to any lengths to stay out of it.

After finishing up with Drew McIntyre, Punk joins Roman in WARGAMES and they’re both attacked by Seth Rollins. We want Roman to continue his feud with Solo Sikoa and not get sidetracked with Seth Rollins. To do this, Solo mocks Roman after Survivor Series, calling him stupid for ever trusting Seth Rollins. Roman wants to get revenge on Seth but Paul Heyman advises him to focus on Solo and becoming Tribal Chief again.
Meanwhile, Punk feuds with Rollins for revenge but it’s short. Their one and only match (so far) is at the Jan 6th RAW Netflix debut which Punk wins. They continue to feud but the Rumble is where they divert paths when Punk and Roman cause each other to both get eliminated by Seth. Roman and Punk start their feud after this.
The initial few weeks of the feud centre around Paul Heyman, his favour to Punk, and where his allegiances lie. The final piece of The Bloodline that Roman still has. He’s back to where the was at the very beginning of the Tribal Chief run: just him and Heyman, no ula fala, no allies, no title. And now he’s losing Heyman. After that we dig deeper and get the more personal stuff about their history together and career comparisons. Punk envying Roman because he got everything that Punk wanted, but the people still choosing Punk despite all that. And the people are the one thing that Roman’s never fully had. Not even now that he’s a popular face, the crowd’s still 50/50 with Punk. The crowd has been the one thing that master manipulator Roman Reigns hasn’t been able to manipulate.
Roman fires back by zeroing in on Punk’s envy and how that conflicts with the values he spouts. How can he be the alternative rebel punk while so openly craving being the face of the biggest wrestling company in the world? Punk’s the bigger manipulator as he’s manipulated the people into thinking that he’s a rebel when in fact he’s always wanted the acknowledgement of the corporate suits that he hates. The crowd have loved him but it’s not their love that Punk’s wanted. But Roman doesn’t even care about that, he doesn’t blame Punk. He’s more interested in talking about why he was picked as the guy over Punk. Because he’s naturally better. Roman’s 6’3”, 250, an elite athlete cut from Samoan granite with the beauty of a Greek god. While Punk’s grey, covered in scribbles, and made of glass. Roman says that this is why he doesn’t need anyone’s help to be the best. “You can have my Wiseman. Take him! I never needed anyone. And I’ll prove it at WrestleMania.” (This line clearly offends Heyman).
So, it’s Roman trying to prove that he can be the best on his own, trying to earn the acknowledgement of the fans off his own merits (without any manipulation, doing it the honest way), while Punk’s trying to prove that he was the better choice over Roman and deserves everything that Roman has. Punk’s doing this by stripping Roman bare (taking away Heyman and The Bloodline), giving him no resources just like Punk started with and seeing if Roman can swim.
At WrestleMania, Heyman enters with Punk and manages him in the match as that was the favour he owed Punk. We get a 99% clean match that’s the middle of the card epic in the vein of HBK & Taker at WM 25 or HBK & Angle at WM 21. The finish sees Punk hit a GTS but not able to make the cover due to being exhausted. Roman even starts to get up first as he’s physically more capable than Punk is. The ref checks on Punk. Heyman stands on the apron and offers Roman a steel chair. Roman thinks about it but declines, wanting to prove himself on his own. Roman turns around to go after Punk when Heyman gets in the ring behind him and low blows Roman. Heyman ducks outside, Roman looks at him with shock. Once Punk recovers he hits a GTS for the win and he and Heyman celebrate together. Punk then hits Heyman with a GTS saying “I’d never trust a snake like you again”.
- Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes (c) WWE Championship Match
- John Cena vs Gunther (c) World Heavyweight Championship Match
RAW After Mania:
- CM Punk & Paul Heyman Promo, Punk Betrays Heyman
Punk & Heyman come out and Heyman glazes Punk. Punk explains his actions at WrestleMania, admitting that Roman was right about a lot and that Punk does struggle with keeping authenticity while achieving his dream. And yes, he has wanted the top brass (represented somewhat by Heyman) to approve of him. But, aligning with Heyman is going against his morals and he only did it because it was the only way that he could beat Roman. He then explains how aligning with Heyman goes against his morals because Heyman is a snake so that’s why he’s going to hit him with a GTS. Heyman’s face drops as Punk explains this and he tries to escape but Punk grabs him by the scruff. Then Punk picks him up and hits a GTS. This shows that he’s not heel, just doing whatever he needs to do to get what he wants. He shows that he is authentically himself, able to manipulate the game in his favour to get what he wants, not being on anyone’s side, just his own.
Over the next few weeks, we see backstage segments with Bron Breakker in the background on the phone talking to someone. He’s also invited by Adam Pearce to talk with “an executive”. This delays the Heyman-Breakker alliance and allows Punk to freely feud with John Cena. Meanwhile, Roman doesn’t appear on the RAW After Mania and doesn’t return until the build to SummerSlam.

- John Cena & Cody Rhodes Segment
After just losing to Seth Rollins and hearing his “face of the company” rhetoric, Cena admits he’s been reflecting about the future of wrestling and who will take over after him. He doesn’t want it to be someone like Rollins who can be corrupted. KOTR Winner Cody Rhodes interrupts and says that he’s the one. This is where we start their Summerslam program.

Seth baits hot-headed Jey into cashing in in the main event. Jey falls into the trap. Seth doesn’t realise that he’s underestimated Jey. Jey wins. After all that effort, all that work, Seth has lost the WWE Title so quickly. His world crumbles.

After Punk loses to Breakker at SNME (Roman returns after that match, transitioning Breakker to that feud), Punk isn’t sure where to go next. During his promos with Cody, he says that he knows that Cody has the heart for the job but he doesn’t know if he has the capability. Can Cody get knocked down over and over but always come back? Cena wins their first match and he looks disappointed, while Cody is distraught.

Wrestlepalooza:
- Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley Vacant World Championship Match
Asuka and Kairi interfere to help Iyo win without Iyo’s knowledge. Iyo confronts Asuka and Kairi about this on the Raw afterwards (after Rhea got mad at Iyo about it backstage). This leads to the big blow up with Asuka and Kairi turning heel, misting Rhea and attacking Iyo when she tries to protect Rhea.
- Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
- CM Punk & AJ Lee vs Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch
Heyman’s building his army with Bron, Bronson, and Brock, but he strengthens it by making an alliance with WWE Champion Seth Rollins. Seth accepts because his paranoia tells him he needs some backup. After Punk beats Gunther, he continues to feud with Heyman’s guys until Rollins gets involved and we can transition into this feud and match.
- Cody Rhodes vs John Cena Street Fight
Cody is desperate for the rematch. Cena says no. Cody doesn’t relent. Demands that Cena face him one more time. This type of fire and unwillingness to give up is what Cena wants to see from Cody. He eventually accepts. No matter what Cena does in this match, Cody will not lose. Realising this after another kick out, Cena smiles. Cody wins.

RAW after Crown Jewel:
- Asuka vs Iyo Sky (c) World Championship Match
With Rhea injured, a bandaged Iyo is outnumbered. Rhea makes a mid match entrance to help, but her injuries are too much. Asuka wins, celebrating with Kairi. Now that Asuka is champion, she’s nicer to Kairi, for the time being.
RAW:
- Rhea Ripley vs Asuka (c) World Championship Match
Iyo isn’t at this show to physically recover from not only the attack after Crown Jewel but the match with Asuka last week. Rhea stands up to Asuka as revenge, but going against the numbers game proves to be the wrong move. Her thirst for revenge also costs her. Iyo returns the next week to save Rhea and even the odds.

Paul got his 3 guys, Bron, Bronson, & Brock but needs a fourth. He recruits a former enemy of him and Roman, and someone who’s always happy to fight Roman, Solo Sikoa.
RAW After WARGAMES:
- RHIYO backstage segment
After winning at WARGAMES, Rhea wants to continue the pursuit of Asuka and get Iyo her World Championship back. But, Iyo slows her down and says that she doesn’t want to get stuck in a cycle of revenge with Asuka and Kairi. She wants to move on and focus on what’s important to her, and that’s RHIYO and winning the tag team championships. In the next few weeks we show that Rhea doesn’t understand how Iyo can just move on. This connects back to Rhea’s feud with Liv Morgan and how Rhea let revenge consume her. This way we can also explore and explain Iyo’s perspective more.

Same as real-life but goes down better thanks to being able to play off of their WM 41 match where Cena won using the “OK” symbol hulk up out of the choke. RAW:
- Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs Asuka & Kairi Sane
Moving on from the RHIYO feud to a Bayley & Lyra feud. We can get defences against both Bayley & Lyra. Mainly want to position and showcase Lyra here though.
SNME:
- RHIYO vs Roxanne Perez & Liv Morgan
RHIYO enters the tag division, coinciding with Liv Morgan returning. Liv tells Raquel to continue her singles pursuits, while she takes Roxanne under her wing, wanting her help to torment Rhea Ripley now that Rhea’s in her way of regaining the tag titles. We can use this feud to show how Iyo’s influence on Rhea helps her to let go of her hatred for Liv and move on. RHIYO then spends the build to Mania after the Rumble with various matches against the rest of the division, increasing their position in the rankings before they win a number 1 contender’s match. Then we get a month long build to the Charlexa match.
- AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura
SmackDown:
- Jade Cargill vs Jordynne Grace (c) United States Championship Match
Jordynne has a long US Title reign from Mania 41. She feuds with Chelsea, Nia, and Lash. Jade misses Summerslam and attacks Stephanie on SD after Summerslam where Stephanie wins the WWE Title. This is because Jade felt that she would’ve been in Stephanie’s position if Naomi hadn’t cost her the QOTR. They feud until Survivor Series where Stephanie once and for all definitively beats Jade in Jade’s first clean singles loss. This loss causes Jade to get backup in Michin and B-Fab and they go after Jordynne Grace and the US Title.

RAW After Mania:
- Kairi Sane Championship Celebration
Asuka interrupts. In a backstage segment earlier in the night, Asuka interrupts an interview with Rhea and Iyo. Surprisingly, she congratulates them and admits she was wrong about both of them, then apologises. Now, Asuka interrupts Kairi’s promo and says a similar thing. She congratulates Kairi for bearing her fair and square and proving her wrong. It’s emotional as Asuka says she’s proud of Kairi, and the two hug. Asuka leaves the ring when Kairi gets attacked from behind by a debuting Giulia. Asuka then joins in on the beatdown and they celebrate over Kairi.
In the next few weeks we see how Rhea wants to help Kairi fight against Asuka & Giulia but Iyo doesn’t want to. She’s moved on and wants to focus on defending their tag team championships. This upsets Rhea slightly as she thought Iyo was the more moral of the two in a way and letting Kairi get ganged up on – even though it was what Kairi did to her – doesn’t feel right.
Kairi goes to Iyo and apologises for everything. She then asks RHIYO for help but Iyo declines. She says, “I’m so proud of you. But I’ve moved on”.
Despite this, Rhea still helps Kairi and tries to help Iyo forgive Kairi, therefore truly moving on.
RAW:
- RHIYO & Kairi segment
Kairi apologies to Iyo. Asks for help. Iyo declines. Rhea looks disappointed in Iyo.
- Giulia vs Kairi Sane
As Kairi’s about to win, Asuka interferes causing the DQ. They both attack Kairi when Rhea, alone, makes the save.
RAW:
- Kairi Sane & Rhea Ripley vs Asuka & Giulia
Iyo comes down to stop Rhea from fighting in this match but it only distracts Rhea and allows Giulia to get a roll up pin. This also helps to eventually transition Asuka & Giulia out of feuding with Kairi, instead feuding with RHIYO.
RAW:
- Kairi & Iyo segment + Rhea attacked.
During the opening to RAW, we see Iyo and Rhea arriving backstage when they’re attacked by Giulia and Asuka. They injure Rhea for getting in their business and are about to do the same to Iyo when Kairi makes the save with a kendo stick and runs them off. Iyo checks on Rhea then takes her frustrations out on Kairi, mad that she didn’t arrive earlier to save Rhea. Kairi stands up for herself saying that she’s apologised already and Iyo needs to get over it. They argue before Kairi leaves. When then go closer to Iyo checking back in on Rhea who says weakly “she’s right, Iyo”. Iyo then looks back towards Kairi, thinking.
May – Backlash:
- Asuka vs Kairi Sane (c) World Championship Match
With Rhea injured and not at the show, Kairi has no backup. That’s until Iyo Sky makes the save to run off Giulia and stop her interference. Iyo then celebrates with Kairi, handing her the championship and hugging.
RAW:
- Kairi Sane & Iyo Sky vs Asuka & Giulia.
The Sky Pirates are reunited for one night only. Iyo and Kairi win and finally completely reconcile. This is the ultimate conclusion to this storyline, with everyone now able to move on to new things.
